Pets at Home launches new superstore in Bar Hill in style

Pet retailer Pets at Home has opened its new pet care centre in Bar Hill.

The new superstore is open seven days a week and includes a veterinary practice, previously located on Barnwell Road, and a grooming salon.

To celebrate the opening, practice owner Dr Hayley Baker, store manager James Hyde and the teams joined in a ribbon-cutting ceremony and launch event at the weekend (the store opened to the public on Friday).

There was a treasure hunt, a tour of the practice, laparoscopy and acupuncture demonstrations, free refreshments, and face painting.

Dr Baker said: “The whole team is so excited to now have our new veterinary practice in Cambridge operating.

“We were previously located on Barnwell Road as a standalone veterinary practice but moving to this location means we have been able to enhance our services and our clients have access to the store and grooming services all under one roof.

“We’ve enjoyed welcoming existing and new clients to our new premises and look forward to seeing more come through the door.

“This is a great community to be part of and we are excited to continue helping the local pet owners care for their beloved animals.”
