London, United Kingdom - June 18, 2016: Jo Cox. An impromptu memorial site in Parliament Square, to Jo Cox the murdered MP, remains a place for people in London to come to, to mourn her loss.

Cambridge residents are being urged to organise events for The Great Get-Together, a new national initiative organised by the Jo Cox Foundation.

The scheme was set up in the MP’s memory, encouraging people to get together with neighbours for a celebration of what people have in common.

The idea is being supported by Cambridge City Council, and will see a series of events taking place across the city a year on from the tragic murder of Mrs Cox, who was MP for Batley and Spen, over the weekend of June 17-18.

Further ideas, resources and additional information, are available from the website www.greatgettogether.org.
