Police appeal for motorist after cyclist seriously injured in ‘hit and run’ in Cambridge




A motorist failed to stop after a collision which left a cyclist seriously injured in Cambridge last night (Monday, October 4).

Police are appealing for witnesses or dash cam footage following the collision around 10pm at the junction of Gilbert Road and Milton Road.

The cyclist, a woman in her 60s, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital with serious injuries.

The car, believed to be a black BMW 1 Series, left the scene and officers are urging the driver to come forward.

Officers are appealing for witnesses or anyone who was in the area of Gilbert Road or Milton Road around the time of the incident and who may have dash cam footage to come forward.
