Police officers investigating a violent robbery in Fulbourn have released an e-fit of the suspect.

The offender is described as white, in her 30s, about 5’6”, slim build with dark hair.

She was wearing dark tight trousers (possibly jeans), a dark coat, blue patterned headscarf and trainers.

The incident happened at about 5.45pm on January 30.

The victim, a woman in her late 50s, was assaulted and robbed as she walked towards Tesco in Yarrow Road, Fulbourn.

She received serious, but not life threatening, injuries and her handbag was snatched during the attack.

Detective Constable John Cox said: “We’re appealing to anyone who recognises the woman in this e-fit or has information about the incident to contact us as a matter of urgency.

“This was a nasty incident which has left the victim with a number of injuries.”
