Officers were on their way to an emergency when the collision occurred and are now seeking witnesses to the incident.

A marked police car was on its way to an emergency when it collided with a red Toyota Yaris in Newmarket Road, Cambridge, at about 8.20pm on Sunday.

The driver of the Toyota, a woman, was treated for minor injuries at Addenbrooke’s Hospital. No-one else was injured.

Police are now seeking witnesses to the incident.

Anyone with information is asked to call Sgt Nick Ashton-Jones on 101 quoting incident 426 of December 17.
