Police have named the man who died following a collision on the A1307 yesterday.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has information is urged to contact police.

Curtis Payne, 23, of Limes Avenue, Chigwell, was driving a Ford Transit van between Cambridge and Linton when he was in collision with a black Hyundai Tucson and a Volvo lorry at about 8am.

Mr Payne sadly died at the scene. No one else was injured.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or saw any of the vehicles involved just prior, to get in touch.
