Police in Cambridge investigate ‘unexplained death’ of woman in her 20s




An investigation has been launched into the “unexplained death” of a woman in her 20s at a property in Cambridge.

Officers were called to Lantern House in Chesterton Road, Cambridge at around 12.50pm today (Thursday, 2 October).

Cambridgeshire Constabulary has confirmed the death is currently being treated as unexplained and an investigation is ongoing. Police remain at the scene.

A police spokesperson said: “We were called at about 12.50pm this afternoon (2 October) to reports of a sudden death of a woman, in her 20s, at Lantern House in Chesterton Road, Cambridge.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained, officers remain at the scene and an investigation is ongoing.”
