Investigating officers have appealed for witnesses to come forward and are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was playing golf at the nearby course.

Hunting wild mammals, including foxes, with dogs was banned when MPs passed the Hunting Act 2004.

Anyone who witnessed what happened should contact police online or by calling 101 quoting 35/87242/24.
