Police probe arson attack on car and van in Cherry Hinton




Police are investigating a fire affecting a van and car that was started deliberately in Cherry Hinton.

A fire crew from Cambridge was called to Impala Drive at 10.05pm on Saturday (February 5).

They wore breathing apparatus as they extinguished the fire, returning to their station by 11.35pm.

A police spokesperson said: “A crime has been raised for arson and an investigation is under way.

“Anyone with any information should contact police on 101 and quote 35/8843/22.”
