The 51-year-old was sentenced to 48 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to 13 counts of theft from a shop between 12 May and 16 June. She stole items including meat, chocolate, alcohol and cleaning products.

The order states that Loveridge must not enter:

- Tesco in Hills Road
- Tesco in East Road
- Sainsbury’s in Hobson Avenue, Trumpington
- Sainsbury’s in Sidney Street
- John Lewis in Cambridge
- TK Maxx in Cambridge
- Any Co-Op store within the boundary of the A14, M11, A505 and A11.

PC Kyle Marsden, from the spree offending team, said: “Loveridge is a prolific shop thief. We hope this order will make her think twice before reoffending upon her release from prison or face the consequences of further time behind bars.

“We continue to work closely with businesses across the city to tackle shop theft and encourage businesses affected to report any breaches, which will be taken robustly by the courts.”
