Clap for our Carers: Residents across Cambridgeshire urged to show support for NHS




Residents across the country are being urged to show their support for the NHS tonight (Thursday, March 26) by backing the Clap For Our Carers campaign.

A national campaign has been launched for the public to come together at 8pm to show their appreciation of key workers during the coronavirus pandemic.

While strictly adhering to the social distancing guidelines, people are being asked to join the big applause at 8pm from their front doors, garden, balcony, windows, living rooms, etc.

It is to show those working on the front line our appreciation for all their hard work and fight against the virus.

Businesses, organisations and sports clubs across the region are spreading the word across social media to make sure the key workers know how much their efforts mean to the nation.
