The Radmore Farm Shop, in Victoria Avenue, Cambridge, has sadly had to close down, but the company will continue to do deliveries for the time being.

The popular establishment closed its doors last Saturday (May 13). Owner Ben Aveling said of the closure: “I think it’s just all this cost of living, to be honest.

“It’s gone down quite significantly since 2019 and before. Covid was a bit different because it was busy at times, but since Covid restrictions have ended, around spring 2022, not only have the costs gone sky-high but also it’s just a bit quieter in general and I think everything’s changed so much for people.

“It’s not something we wanted to do – we’ve been there since 2006 – so it’s unfortunate but necessary, I’m afraid.”

The deliveries are set to continue and anyone wanting to place an order can do so on the shop’s website and social media pages. “We still have a lot of people who are actually quite interested in deliveries at the moment, so we’re just going to carry on with that and see where that takes us,” said Ben.

He added: “It’s always been such a wonderful experience to do what we’ve done, and we’ve always been so grateful for everyone’s custom.”
