Serious collision between lorry and pedestrian near Addenbrooke’s Hospital

Motorists are being urged to avoid an area near Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge following a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.

The A1307 has been closed at its junction with Fendon Road following a collision involving a lorry and a pedestrian.

Police were called by the ambulance service at just before 8am and the pedestrian has suffered serious injuries.

The road is expected to be closed for some hours.
