Seven people have been referred to the immigration service after they were found in the back of a lorry wedged between containers of cucumbers.
Police were called at about 3.15pm on Tuesday (9 January) by a man who said he had been in the vehicle for 18 hours with five other men and a woman.
Officers located the lorry in Cottenham and the individuals were checked over by the ambulance service. They have since been referred to the immigration service.
The driver, a 59-year-old man, was arrested on suspicion of assisting illegal entry into the UK and has been bailed to return to Parkside police station in April.
