Shoplifter banned from John Lewis and BP stores in Cambridgeshire for five years
A shoplifter has been banned from stores in Cambridgeshire for five years.
Scott Reynolds, 37, of no fixed address, was given the Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) by Cambridge magistrates on Friday (4 October).
It states he must not enter any John Lewis or BP store within the boundary of the M11, A11, A505 and A14 for five years.
He must also not conceal any item in any shop within Cambridgeshire.
The order came after Reynolds previously pleaded to five counts of theft between 26 June and 5 August.
He stole items including hair straighteners and food worth more than £1,000 from John Lewis in Cambridge and BP in Newmarket Road.
Sgt Dan Scott, from the spree offending team, said: “Reynolds is a prolific shoplifter. We hope this order will provide some respite to businesses in the city and beyond. Any breaches of this CBO will be dealt with robustly.”
