The former barrister has been given a spot at the Ministry of Justice

A Cambridgeshire MP has been promoted in Theresa May’s reshuffle.

In her first ministerial role, MP for South East Cambridgeshire Lucy Frazer has been named Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Ministry of Justice.

Ms Frazer, 45, was elected to Parliament in 2015 after a career as a barrister. She was appointed as Queen’s Counsel in 2013. She went to university in Cambridge where she met her husband, David.
