Longstanton teen, 15, arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after stabbing at Coleridge Recreation Ground

A teenager has been arrested following a stabbing at Coleridge Recreation Ground.

The 15-year-old boy from Longstanton has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder today (Thursday, April 25) and remains in police custody.

Police were called by the ambulance service to the recreation ground off Davy Road on Tuesday around 4pm.

A 15-year-old boy had been taken to hospital with serious injuries that are not thought to be life threatening.

A police spokesman said today: "A 15-year-old boy from Longstanton has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. He remains in custody at Parkside Police Station."
