Third time's a charm for The Gog who are named national butchers of the year
The Gog Farm Shop at Shelford Bottom has been named 'Best Farm Shop' at a prestigious industry award ceremony in London
The annual ‘Butcher’s Shop of the Year’ awards recognise excellence and innovation in independent businesses across the country.
Having reached the finals for the third time, The Gog Farm Shop fought off very strong national competition to be named champions.
“We’re all absolutely thrilled with the award,” said Managing Director, Charles Bradford. “It reflects the exceptional hard work and contribution from the whole team and it underpins our quest to become one of the country’s best food retailers. The biggest thanks must go to our amazing customers who have supported and believed in us over the years.
“Overwhelmingly, our customers are putting greater value on quality and fantastic tasting products. We’re constantly investing in the development of our skilled team to create a friendly and informative environment for our customers, allowing them to focus on enjoying the best possible food.”
