Three men from London have been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Cambridge on Monday night (December 19).

Officers made a public plea for information yesterday after a 16-year-old boy from London was stabbed in East Road.

The victim was with a friend when they were involved in an altercation with three men in Pepe's Piri Piri, East Road at around 10pm. The group then followed the victim and his friend along East Road, close to Tesco and attacked him.

The victim suffered a number of stab wounds and is currently in Addenbrooke's Hospital in a stable condition.

Three men, two aged 17 and one aged 22, all from London, were arrested last night in connection with the incident and are currently in custody at Parkside Police Station in Cambridge.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
