Three men in court following Soham shooting
Three men appeared in court following a shooting in Soham that left a man with life-threatening injuries.
Craig Garrod, 26, of Hill Drove, Soham, and Wayne Bonus, 38, of Sand Street, Soham, have both been charged with attempted murder.
They were remanded to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on October 5.
Kevin Thompson, 39, of Eastern Avenue, Soham has been charged with assisting an offender.
He was released on conditional bail to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on the same date.
The men appeared before Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this morning (Monday September 7).
Police said a 69-year-old man from Soham has been released with no further action.
The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition following the shooting , which happened in the early hours of Saturday,
Police were called by the ambulance service at about 1.40am to Eye Hill Drove in Soham.
A significant police presence was maintained in Soham, and a property was cordoned off.
