Three people charged following Extinction Rebellion Cambridge protest at Schlumberger




Three people have been charged following a protest by Extinction Rebellion Cambridge at oilfield services company Schlumberger this week.

Police were present on Monday and Tuesday at Schlumberger Gould Research Centre on Madingley Road to ensure safety and enable business to continue.

They arrested three people on Tuesday (March 15).

Jamie Goodland, 32, of Vicarage Close, Cambridge, and Annie Hoyle, 28, of Fair Street, Cambridge, have been charged with aggravated trespass and bailed to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on April 14.

Christopher Ford, 45, of Carlton Way, Cambridge, has been charged with aggravated trespass and criminal damage. He has been bailed to appear at Cambridge Magistrates’ Court on April 7.
