Tourist snaps put Cambridge on most-Instagrammed list

Cambridge University is one of the most Instagrammed tourist spots in the country.

With 73,632 pictures posted last year, Cambridge University made the list of the UK's most Instagrammed sights.

Big Ben topped the list, which was compiled by Expedia, being captured 2.5million times.

Cambridge University came in at 12th on the list, also generating 35,300 unique hashtags on the social media site. Anfield, Edinburgh Castle and York Minster were the other urban sights.
