Tributes paid to man killed in A505 crash
The family of a man who died following a crash on the A505 have paid tribute to him as "a loving father, husband and son with an infectious laugh and smile"
Vasile Chiorean, 48, of Old Rope Walk, Haverhill, died after his car, a white Mitsubishi Shogun, was in collision with a lorry on the A505 at Melbourn yesterday morning (February 2).
Jose Galdon-Donate, 55, from Cartegena, Murcia, Spain, has been charged with causing death by dangerous driving and has appeared at Cambridge Magistrates' Court today by video link. He is now due to appear at Cambridge Crown Court on March 3.
Vasile was known as Cristian to friends and family. His family have paid the following tribute in a statement released by the police: "He was a loving father, husband and son with an infectious laugh and smile. There wasn’t a room that he couldn’t cheer up and I don’t think anyone can say they’ve had a bad first impression of him. So many people will miss him and cherish him through the many great memories. Rest in peace Christian.”
