Triple stabbing: 17-year-old boy bailed with 18-year-old critical at Addenbrooke’s in Cambridge




An 18-year-old man remains in a critical condition at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge, police have confirmed today (Tuesday), following a triple stabbing in Peterborough.

Police were called at about 12.20am on Saturday (17 August) with reports of violence in Freston, Paston.

The 18-year-old and two 17-year-old boys were taken to hospital with stab wounds. One of the 17-year-olds left hospital on Saturday and the other is in a stable condition at Peterborough City Hospital.

A 17-year-old boy from Peterborough who was arrested on Sunday evening (18 August) on suspicion of grievous bodily harm has been released on bail until 18 November.

No other arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

Police said they were treating it as an isolate incident.
