Two arrested after Cambridge stabbing that left 52-year-old in critical condition
Two men have been arrested following a stabbing in Cambridge which has left a 52-year-old man in hospital in a critical condition.
Police were called around 12pm on Wednesday (2 October) by the ambulance service with reports that a man had been stabbed in Nicholson Way.
Officers attended and the man, from Cambridge, was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries, where he remains. He is now in a critical but stable condition.
A 24-year-old man from Cambridge has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder, theft of a motor vehicle, being concerned in the supply of class A drugs and making threats to kill.
Another man from Cambridge, also 24, has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, theft of a motor vehicle and being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.
Both men were arrested in Cambourne yesterday evening (Thursday, 3 October) and remain in custody at Parkside police station.
