Two arrested in Cambridge after police called to reports of violence

Two men have been arrested after police were called to reports violence between a group of people in Cambridge on Saturday afternoon.

Police were called at about 1.30pm on Saturday, July 25, to a group of people who had congregated on Carlton Terrace, Carlton Way.

A police spokesperson said: "Officers attended and the group was quickly dispersed. An 18-year-old man was arrested under suspicion of violent disorder and has been released under investigation. A 41-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and has also been released under investigation. Police believe this to be an isolated incident of violence, which was quickly dealt with and those involved dispersed."
