Plans are being made to improve travel around the west of the city.

More than 1300 people have had their say on proposals for a new Park and Ride and busway to the west of Cambridge.

The Cambourne to Cambridge Better Bus Journeys consultation continues this month with two extra public events.

Residents and commuters are being asked to take part in the Greater Cambridge Partnership consultation online or by attending one of two additional public drop-in events to be held this month.

The scheme aims to improve transport links between Cambourne and Cambridge by reducing congestion on the roads by providing alternative and sustainable transport options.

After the consultation closes on 29 January the responses will be evaluated by Cambridgeshire County Council’s Research Team.

The GCP’s Executive Board will consider how to proceed in the summer.

Dry Drayton Village Hall, High Street, Dry Drayton - 9 January, 6-8pm.
