Cambridgeshire police charge two people after death of 12-week-old Teddie Mitchell





Two people have been charged following the death of a baby from St Neots last year.

Twelve-week-old Teddie Mitchell died at Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge on November 11.

Kane Mitchell, 30, formerly from St Neots and now of no fixed abode, has been charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Lucci Smith, 29, of Pattison Court, St Neots, has been charged with causing or allowing the death of a child.

She has been remanded to appear at Peterborough Magistrates’ Court this morning.
