Two men die in industrial incident in Cambridgeshire




Two men died in an industrial incident in Soham on Saturday (March 2).

The emergency services were called to Cross Bank Drove, Soham, but one man in his 40s and one in his 70s died at the scene. The incident has been reported to the Health and Safety Executive for investigation.

A Cambridgeshire police spokesperson said: “We were called to an industrial incident at Cross Bank Drove, Soham, at about 1.50pm on Saturday (March 2). Fire and ambulance also attended.

“Two men, one in his 70s and the other in his 40s, died at the scene. The incident is non-suspicious and has been referred to the HSE.”
