Two people hurt after crash in Newmarket Road, Cambridge
Two people were injured - one of them seriously - in a crash in Cambridge’s Newmarket Road.
A police spokesperson said: “We were called at 11.26am yesterday (September 13) with reports of a collision near McDonald’s in Newmarket Road.
“Officers and paramedics attended a two-vehicle collision where two people were injured.
“A man with serious injuries and a woman with minor injuries have both been taken to Addenbrooke’s hospital for treatment.”
Police put up a cordon while emergency services were at the scene.
