Update: Man found dead in ditch named as missing man Peter Hunt

Mr Hunt went missing a month ago

The body of a man found in a Cambridge waterway has been named as Peter Hunt.

Mr Hunt, 71, went missing a month ago but was found in a ditch at Coe Fen near Fen Causeway yesterday (December 15).

He was reported missing from his home in Arran Close, Cherry Hinton on November 15.

The police are treating the matter as “non-suspicious”.

Police were called to the scene close to the DoubleTree by Hilton hotel at 11.50 on December 15.

Mr Hunt’s body was removed from the scene shortly afterwards.
