The NHS has contacted all those eligible, who include everyone aged 65 and over, pregnant women, adults and children with certain health conditions (those aged 12-plus only can attend a walk-in clinic), health and social care staff, carers and residents of care homes for older people.

Clinics are running at:

- Wisbech, Queen Mary’s Centre - Thu Oct 19, 9am-4pm
- Huntingdon - Commemoration Hall - Fri Oct 20, 10am-2.30pm
- Peterborough - Hampton Medical Centre - Sat Oct 21, 9am-2pm
- Melbourn - Melbourn Hub - Sun Oct 22, 9am-3pm

People can still book via the National Booking Service or by calling 119.

Dr Fiona Head, medical director at NHS Cambridgeshire & Peterborough, part of the Integrated Care System (ICS) said: “Going into this winter, we want to give our local communities the maximum protection against Covid-19. Even for those who’ve had a Covid-19, it’s still important to get a vaccination as viruses change and immunity decreases over time.

“Walk-in clinics will be taking place across range of locations across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough over the coming weeks, providing those eligible with a quick and convenient way to get boosted for winter.”
