We’ve teamed up with The Hill Group to give away 100 free tickets to this fantastic event. The summer extravaganza takes place on Saturday, 27 July 27 from 12pm to 4pm in Jubilee Square at Marleigh and promises an array of entertainment from traditional funfair games to mini adventure golf, and much more.

For young thrill-seekers in the family, there will be a traditional carousel and older guests will have the chance to test their skills on a surf machine. Once you’ve worked up an appetite mastering the waves, perfecting the hook-a-duck stall and excelling at the coconut shy, visitors can indulge in the mouthwatering food available. Marleigh’s own authentic Italian deli Signorelli’s will be serving savoury snacks and soft drinks and for those with a sweet tooth, an ice cream truck will be providing cold delights.

There will also be talented face painters ready to transform little faces and toe tapping music courtesy of the brilliant Mardi Gras Jazz Band.

Marleigh Summer Fair competition terms and conditions

1. The competition opens at 7am on Wednesday 3rd July and ends at 10am on Wednesday 17th July, 2024. After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.

2. The winners will be contacted by telephone and/or email by a representative at Cambridge Independent on Wednesday 17th July, this is the same day the competition closes. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 3 days of notification, Cambridge Independent reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.

3. The winner will be chosen at random. No discussion will be entered into. Submission of an entry will be taken to mean acceptance of these terms and conditions.

4. This competition is open to residents of the UK only. Employees of The Hill Group and their families or anyone else associated with this competition are ineligible to enter.

5. The winner will be required to sign a photography disclaimer form and be prepared to have their photos taken by and be interviewed by The Cambridge Independent. Interview quotes and photos will be used for marketing purposes and shared on social media channels by The Cambridge Independent, The Hill Group and The Oracle Group.

6. Each competition winner will receive up to 4 x tickets (including the winner themselves) to enjoy The Marleigh Summer Fair on Saturday, 27 July.

7. All prizes are non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.

8. The prize will be emailed once the winner’s details have been received.

9. Events may occur that render the competition itself or the awarding of the prizes impossible, due to reasons beyond the control of The Hill Group, and accordingly they may, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the promotion, and the entrant agrees that no liability shall attach to the promoter as a result thereof.

10. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
