We're giving away 20 pairs of tickets, just answer a simple question to enter.

Iliffe Media – publishers of the Cambridge Independent – gave its support to Newmarket Racecourse on Saturday (September 30) when it sponsored the track’s 5.20pm race.

Owner Edward Iliffe was on hand, along with MD Ricky Allan, to present the winning jockey and the horse’s owner with their prize and the customary bottle of bubbly.

That honour went to Philip Deer, son of owner John Deer, whose horse, Makzeem, was ridden by Ryan Moore and trained by Roger Charlton.

Don’t miss your chance to go racing at Newmarket by entering our competition for tickets to the Dubai Future Champions Festival.

It takes place next Friday and Saturday (October 13-14) and we have 20 pairs of tickets to be won.

To enter, answer the following question: Who trains Makzeem, the horse which won the Iliffe-sponsored race at Newmarket on Saturday?

Email your answer, using Newmarket in the subject line, to andy.veale@iliffemedia.co.uk.
