Woman dies in two-vehicle A505 crash near Melbourn

A woman in her 40s has died after a two-vehicle crash on the A505 near Melbourn.

The woman was driving a blue Mini Cooper that was in collision with a white Fiat Ducato just before 3pm on Saturday (20 September).

Emergency services attended and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the Fiat suffered serious injuries and remains in Addenbrookes’ hospital in Cambridge.

Officers are appealing for information and dashcam footage from anyone who may have witnessed the collision or either of the vehicles in the moments leading up to it.
