Woman who died after three-vehicle crash on A10 is named




A woman who died following a three-vehicle collision on the A10 has been named.

Jeanette Spencer, 50, of The Pyghtle, Buntingford, died in hospital, after the grey Ford Fiesta she was driving was involving in a crash last Wednesday (January 27).

It happened just after 1pm on the A10 Royston Road, north of the A505 junction, near Royston.

The drivers of the other two vehicles - a black Vauxhall Insignia and a white Iveco Daily 35S13 - were unhurt.

The driver of the Insignia, a 27-year-old man from Bedfordshire, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. He has been released from custody pending further investigation.

Cambridgeshire police are appealing for witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage of the moments leading up to the collision.
