The Met Office has issued another weather warning across Cambridgeshire, as thunderstorms are predicted for the region on Thursday (July 25) and Friday (July 26).

Following a scorchingly hot day tomorrow (Thursday) - which could potentially become the hottest day on record in Britain - scattered thunderstorms are likely to break out from late afternoon onwards.

There is the prospect of 13 hours of thunderstorms and the yellow warning is in place from 3pm tomorrow (Thursday) until 4am the next morning.

The Met Office says that there is a risk of difficult driving conditions, road closures, delays to trains and buses, power cuts and flooding.
