Cambridge Cangaroos pick up seven medals from Regional Challenge Cup fixture in Colchester

Despite losing a number of competitors to illness in the build up to the most recent Regional Challenge Cup series meeting in Colchester on March 12, Cambridge Cangaroos still produced a highly competitive set of results.

The club took a total of 15 gymnasts to Essex for the event, with their first member starting at 9am and the final one finishing their routine at 6.10pm to end a long day of competition.

Nevertheless, it was still a successful outing for the group who train in Whittlesford as four gold medals and a further three silvers were won. One of those on top of the podium was Liannah Le Roy-Tickner, who triumphed in the Double Mini-Tramp Women’s 11-12 category with a total score of 60.10.
