Cambridge City capture signing of Lee Stevenson

Lilywhites make midfielder addition

Lee Stevenson has signed for Cambridge City.

The 32-year-old midfielder has joined the Lilywhites’ battle to stay in the Evo-Stik League Southern, Premier Division after leaving King’s Lynn Town.

He had a first spell with King’s Lynn in 2003 before moving to Belper Town and Eastwood, from where he moved to Mansfield Town to help them win promotion back to the Football League.

Stevenson then had spells with Alfreton and Stockport before rejoining King’s Lynn in June 2015, going on to make 75 appearances.

This season, Stevenson has scored 11 goals in all competitions.

All the necessary paperwork has been completed meaning that the new signing will be available for selection for the relegation six-pointer at Kings Langley this Saturday.
