Cambridge City girls’ roll call of success and tournament wins shows no sign of stopping.

The under-10s, managed by Will Dopadlik, were in action at the Histon Hornets tournament, and included two debutants.

They played well throughout the day to end up beating Haddenham in the final 2-0, making it a hat-trick of successes in recent weeks.

Also at the Hornets’ event, City’s under-11s were beaten on penalties by Coton in their final, the under-12s lost to Pinchbeck by one goal in their final, and the under-14s were pipped to the post by Cambourne in their final.

City’s under-12 team travelled to St George’s Park for the ESF Football Tours finals.

The team had earned their place at the finals through the regional competition.

They recorded victories over Wickersley (1-0), Denham (2-0) and AFC Leyton (4-0) to claim victory in the tournament, adding to their success at the Aces tournament in Nottingham.
