May Busher bagged four goals for Cambridge City III as they won 13-0 against Royston in the mini league.

Captain Laura Letchford made her return to the side but they were missing Charlotte Rye and Iona Tripp who have shone in recent weeks. But good passing patterns, individual skill and athleticism came to the fore for City built up an 8-0 lead at half time.

The goals came through more structured play in the second half.

Busher finished with four strikes, Bella Izzard and Rebecca Grainger both scored hat-tricks and Emma Owens, after a pass to the far post by Izzard, and Ella Forsyth, with a rare strike, were also among the scorers.

City IV were beaten 2-1 by Cambridge South.

Fran Ralston-Bown had a simple tap-in after good work from Hannah Roberts, but they conceded both goals from penalty corners.

Vicki Dickinson grabbed a hat-trick, Biz Whicello continued a fine scoring run with two goals and Xanthe Stebbing got one as City V defeated South VI 6-0.
