Cambridge City Ladies and Cambridge United Women will be looking to put disappointing weekend results behind them when they clash at Ely City's Demcom Stadium tonight (Wednesday) in the FA Women's National League, Division One South East.

The Lilywhites had their first home game of the campaign last Sunday, and were up against last season's runners-up Billericay Town, who had strengthened during the summer and are favourites for the title.

After holding their own for much of the first half, City conceded just before the break as Zoe Rushen slotted home.

Injuries meant City had to reshuffle at the start of the second half and soon after, they conceded a second to Rushen. Five minutes later, Jay Blackie grabbed Billericay's third to complete the 3-0 win.

United were beaten 2-0 at AFC Wimbledon on Sunday.

The match at Ely City kicks off at 7.45pm.
