Cambridge City make Ollie Snaith signing

Lilywhites snap up Needham Market midfielder

Cambridge City have strengthened their squad with the addition of Ollie Snaith.

The 20-year-old midfielder has moved to the Lilywhites from Ryman League, Premier Division side Needham Market.

A box-to-box midfielder who is technically good on the ball, Snaith started in the youth team at Newmarket Twon, and went on to make 122 first-team appearances for the Jockeys, scoring 12 goals.

He was Newmarket’s players’ player of the year last season, before making the move to Needham Market in October.

Snaith is in line to make his debut for City in the home match against Basingstoke in the Evo-Stik League Southern, Premier Division tomorrow (Saturday, January 14) proving all the necessary paperwork is completed in time.
