Cambridge City suffered a 3-0 defeat to Aylesbury in the Evo-Stik League South, Division One Central.

The first half ended goalless but Ty Deacon broke the deadlock for Aylesbury in the 52nd minute.

He added a second five minutes later, and the hosts got a third through Ken Feyi in the 85th minute.

The defeat comes after City were denied by a last-gasp goal in a 1-1 draw at Aylesbury United last Saturday.

They were the dominant force in the first half, but found a keeper in top form. The Lilywhites broke the deadlock in the 16th minute, with Ryan Sharman latching on to a throw in to get in behind the defence to set up Nathan Olukanmi to score.

City seemed set for the win, but in stoppage time, a cross was flicked on for Arron Berry to grab an equaliser for Aylesbury.

City are away to Kempston Rovers on Saturday (March 2).
