Reduced targets have impact on results

Cambridge Granta and Burwell & Exning both suffered defeats in rain-affected matches in the Gibbs Denley East Anglian Premier League.

Tristan Blackledge led the cause for Granta, making 75 not out as they reached 210 for 9.

But with the Duckworth Lewis Method at play, Horsford earned a six-wicket win by reaching 133 for 4.

In a reduced target, Great Witchingham then earned victory by making 98 for 6.

Granta are away to Norwich this Saturday (May 19), while Burwell & Exning host Vauxhall Mallards at Exning Park.
