Cambridge United on the road to Guiseley in the FA Cup




Full draw for the Emirates FA Cup, first round

Cambridge United have been handed an away day in the first round of the Emirates FA Cup.

The U’s were drawn out by folk hero Dion Dublin for a game at National League North side Guiseley.

The West Yorkshire side are currently 11th in the table, having won four of their 11 matches so far this season.

There are two players with links to the U’s in the Guiseley squad.

Scott Garner signed at the Abbey Stadium in June 2012, but the move did not work out and he spent long loan spells at first Lincoln City and then Boston United.

And Terry Kennedy played two matches on loan at United from Sheffield United in the 2015/16 season.
