Cambridge Cangaroos get among the medals at Regional Challenge Cup Series meeting in Colchester

Cambridge Cangaroos enjoyed a successful outing at the recent Regional Challenge Cup Series meeting in Colchester.

The club took a squad with a total of 24 trampoline gymnasts and seven DMT gymnasts to the event, which acted as the second batch of regional qualifying competitions, with the finals being held in Cambridge next month.

And the Cangaroos chalked up plenty of success in Essex, returning with 13 individual medals and two team gold medals.

Iza Moutrie was among the club members to clinch gold thanks to her performance in the TPD Reg 1 Cat 2 event, while Matilda Enright followed suit in the TRA Club 2 category.

Also finishing on top of the podium for the club were Lucas Coleman-Denny, Freya Carter, Max Dobbyne, Ellis-May le Roy-Tickner and Eloise Symons.

Quinne Little took home a silver for her performance in the TRA Club 3 section – a result that was matched by club-mates Lily Cartner, Lilia Kearney and Pattie Dobbyne.

Meanwhile, there was a pair of bronze medals for Isla Roberts and Liannah le Roy-Tickner in the DMT Club 2 and DMT Level 2 respectively.
