Cantabs’ intermediate women’s squad also had a good race, with their eight finishing fourth fastest women’s crew.
The men’s novice eights was won by Cantabs’ Aquaphones crew, while in the smaller boat classes, Boukhatmi was the fastest of the men’s Intermediate 2 single scullers and Georgie Plunkett was the fastest women’s Intermediate 3 single sculler.
