Cambridge Nomads pay price for not converting opportunities during loss to Cambridge University
Cambridge Nomads were made to pay for not taking their chances during Saturday’s 2-1 loss to Cambridge University II in the East Men’s League Division 1 North.
Nomads dominated large parts of the contest and forced plenty of penalty corners, but all they had to show for it was Martin Hamon’s late strike.
And by that point they were already two goals down, with the students having scored with their only two efforts on target.
In the East Men’s League Division 3 North West, Cambridge Nomads II were also unable to make full use of their opportunities during a 1-1 draw with Kettering II.
