Histon have announced plans to launch a reserve team for the 2022/23 season.
The Stutes have identified a long-term need to invest in the senior football structures at the club to help develop players coming through their academy, youth and scholarship structures.
In order to do so, they will re-form a reserve team that will play in the Cambridgeshire County League, and the ultimate ambition will be to help youngsters adapt to senior football with Histon to progress into the first-team set-up.
As a result, Histon are encouraging applications for a manager to take charge of the new reserve team.
Any interested candidates are being asked to email secretary@histonfc.co.uk with their footballing CV and a covering letter.
